Janette Withey - Managing Director
Janette Withey has over 28 years experience in the recruitment industry and an innate understanding of London Docklands businesses, having worked in the area for over twelve years. Janette previously worked as a senior manager for a national recruitment consultancy before deciding to go it alone with a more tailored service for clients and candidates.As a contributor to the area's growth, Janette is now Deputy Chairman for the London Docklands Business Club, part of the London Chamber of Commerce. She is known for her boundless energy and larger than life personality and has a close relationship with the business community, a good awareness of business trends in the area, and is often the first point of contact for new arrivals.
Deborah Downing
Deborah Downing has over 10 years’ recruitment experience working on both the client and candidate side of the field. Prior to her 5 years as a recruitment consultant in London Docklands with Quay People, Deborah worked in HR for a large corporate organisation, and in Executive Search and Selection for a small global player. This means she can anticipate many of the demands from her clients and ensure that candidates are well briefed. Enthusiastic, intelligent and tenacious, Deborah is an ice-hockey fan with a passion for backgammon.
Sarah Archer
With a background in office management, training and recruitment, Sarah Archer networked her way to an interview with Quay People four years ago. Her skills and obvious ability to add value ensured that she was quickly transferred from Quay People's register of temporaries to permanent Quay People consultant. Having moved from a search and selection business in the West End, Sarah is still impressed by the Quay People approach - as she says, this team genuinely care about their candidates and manage to be both relaxed and wholly professional. An outgoing, empathetic chocoholic who doesn't count calories, Sarah is proud to know nothing about football.
Monika Nemeth
Originally hailing from Budapest, Monika joined the team in early 2006 to build on Quay People's multilingual recruitment success. With a background in call-centre management and marketing surveys, Monika's most recent challenge was to recruit linguists from across Europe. Monika is focused, out-going and open-minded and a dance addict from childhood.
Rishiraj Hemraj
Rishi deals with the accounting aspects of Quay People’s business. Although he already has a degree in Marketing Management, Rishi finds the finance sector to be far more challenging and motivating and so is now completing his ACCA course. Having previously lived and worked as a Reinsurance Broker in Mauritius, Rishi’s sense of adventure brought him to London in 2006, where he joined the Quay People team. However, despite the camaraderie he admits to missing the fun, the sun and the sea of his tropical paradise! A fairly relaxed person but with a 'no nonsense' attitude, Rishi’s philosophy is, “Life is short, so I try to make the most out of it!”
