At Quay People, customer satisfaction is the key to our success. We strive to be recognised by clients and candidates as their first choice for high quality search and recruitment, and so we work to:
As a result we are thus committed to continually monitoring and improving our service and so ask our clients and candidates to assess and comment on our skill at understanding their requirements, speed of service, accuracy in matching candidates to jobs, efficiency and their overall satisfaction.
All key processes are documented and the operational aspects of activities involving communication, negotiation and discussion are covered by formal written policy documents that in turn are used to structure training.
We believe that quality is the responsibility of all staff, whether working as consultants or within temporary jobs. Our team is trained to understand our clients'; needs, are made fully aware of relevant legislation, and are provided with support to ensure compliance. Regular appraisals and on-site training are part of our work ethic, and we welcome change and innovation.
Our Quality Assurance Policy Statement is available for download on the right by registered clients and candidates.
REC is the industry body representing the £24.5 billion recruitment industry, with more than 7,000 corporate members and 5,000 individual members. Quay People is a member of the Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC), which promotes high, sustainable standards of corporate best practice in the recruitment industry. Membership is dependent upon commitment to and full compliance with The Code of Good Recruitment Practice, which ensures job seekers and employers receive the highest recruitment standards.
Quay People recently received our Green Mark Award, demonstrating on-going environmental improvement commitment. Green Mark is run and administered by The London Environment Centre. Attaining the Green Mark has been a way for Quay People to demonstrate and improve our environmental good practice. Through waste minimisation and recycling we have managed to reduce the amount of refuse we produce each week from three sacks to just one.
On behalf of Quay People, Deborah Downing receives the Green Mark Award from the London Environment Centre, December 2005
Diversity is about harnessing the talent and potential of everyone to achieve business success. Quay People were one of the first companies to commit to the recruitment industry’s Diversity Pledge, developed by the REC and Job Centre Plus. The REC maintains a register of those who have committed to the pledge, which is available online.
