How we work

Quay People offers a recruitment service to candidates seeking temporary, permanent or contract work in the London Docklands area and surrounds. We want you to have as much information as possible about working with us, but give us a call if you have any queries that we haven't answered here. We know that changing jobs can be stressful, and our approach is designed to make the process as smooth and straightforward as possible.

We do not charge recruitment candidates for our services and of course confidentiality is guaranteed. We would never forward your CV to one of our clients unless we thought there was a good fit between you, the role and their organisation, and before doing so we would always ask for your agreement.

Getting to know you

Quay People place people in permanent, temporary and contract roles that suit their skills and personalities, which is why so many candidates remain loyal to us. We get to know our candidates, building personal relationships so that we can understand what it is you are really looking for, what motivates you and what suits you.

When we meet, we will discuss your personal goals and aspirations, the roles that would interest you and the working environments that suit you best. We will also explore your capabilities and experience, and provide an independent evaluation of your specific skill areas.

This assessment will be discussed with you, and if necessary we can offer training to bring specific skills up to speed.

The right role?

We make it a point to visit our clients to ensure we understand their culture and approach so that you are fully informed from the start. This means that we can help you completely understand potential positions by discussing the role, the company and the working environment before your CV is put forward.

Once you decide that you are interested, we will put you forward for consideration and help you prepare for the interview.

Ongoing support

Throughout the recruitment process, we will stay in regular contact with you. Additional advice and support is available on this website to registered candidates, and we are always delighted to offer advice, support and encouragement on the telephone or face-to-face.
